MELBOURNE: HERE I COME!
In 2018, Douglas Lim brought his show This is Nice to Melbourne, with candid observations and commentary that connected with Australians and Malaysians alike.
He spoke honestly about Malaysia’s struggle against an arrogant and corrupt government and the dreaded feeling that it was not going to change. It was a solid hour of lamentations wrapped in humour, criticisms camouflaged in comedy. Then he went home.
Malaysia had it's 14th General Elections... and changed the government for the first time since independence. So yeah... This is Awkward.
