The King of Malaysian comedy Douglas Lim is a multi-hyphenate entertainer who has dabbled in acting for television, theater and film, stand-up, radio, and humorous content creation.
He burst on the scene in the iconic sitcom Kopitiam which earned him a nomination at the Asian Television Awards for Best Actor in a Comedy. His stand-up comedy shows include sold-out performances at Istana Budaya, KL Convention Center, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and even The Public Theater in New York, landing him on the list of Asia’s Top 10 Comedians.
In 2019, Douglas Lim headlined MACC- The Goodbye Tour which performed
to over 10,000 people across 11 cities. Johor was one of them. Then the
pandemic hit…
With strict lockdown limitations (for the normal public) Douglas turned
to social media. His humorous videos garnered millions of views,
propelling him into the Malaysian Book of Records.
Now it is 2024 and Douglas Lim is very excited to get BACK TO WORK and make Johor laugh.
